Statutory Proposal for the Enlargement of Falinge Park High School
Overview
Rochdale Council is now consulting on a proposal to provide additional secondary school places at Falinge Park High School with effect from September 2017.
The proposal is to enlarge Falinge Park High School by providing an additional 30 places in each new admission year group. The enlargement of the school would be to increase the admission number to 270 from September 2017 for each new successive year group, from the current admission number of 240.
The current total capacity of the school is 1200 places and the increase in places will mean that the total capacity will rise to 1350 places overall.
Rochdale Borough Council will implement the proposal if Cabinet provides approval.
