1. Do you agree that creating new development opportunities and public realm around the railway station will create a more appealing gateway into the village?
2. Do you agree that the refurbishment of the railway arches will be a welcome addition to the village?
3. The proposed increase in parking provision is to consolidate parking for the station in one location. Do you agree that providing additional parking at the station will help reduce parking pressures on the local residential streets?
4. Will the creation of opportunities for cycle parking be welcome?
5. Will improvements to the existing public realm, accommodating local servicing and parking requirements in addition to maintaining through routes be a positive improvement to the village?
6. Would the provision of public open space and links to the canal towpath (and beyond) be a welcome addition in the village?
7. Will the defining of a village ‘heart’ centred around improved public realm and the potential for outdoor events space around the junction of Church Street/Hare Hill Road and station approach be an improvement to the village?
8. Is making more efficient use of land and buildings close to the station for complementary residential use and reinstating the street frontages to Peel Street/Victoria Street a positive strategy?
9. Do you agree that the introduction of new residential uses, on previously developed land, that provides for a mix of types and densities in close proximity to the station is a positive step in the village?
10. What other improvements could the document propose that would further act to enhance regeneration and renewal within the area?
