Additional Licensing of houses in multiple occupation - Survey of residents and other agencies

Overview

Consultation on the proposal to extend its additional Licensing for Houses in Multiple Occupation, started on the 1 December 2016 at our Landlords Forum and will last for 10 weeks. We particularly want to talk to landlords and letting agents, tenants occupying private rented accommodation (specifically those living in HMO accommodation) and local residents.

We will do this through:

• hard copy questionnaire
• background information document
• Landlord Forum presentation
• mail-shot
• engagement with residents associations and Are Forums
• promotion through publicity
