Interim Polling District Review

Closed 29 Oct 2021

Opened 18 Oct 2021

Overview

Rochdale’s ward boundaries will change at the local elections in May 2022. The change is the result of the recent review of ward boundaries by the Local Government Boundary Commission for England (LGBCE).

Rochdale | LGBCE Site

In preparation for the ward changes we are reviewing the current polling districts and polling places. In some areas of the borough these will need to change to take account of the new ward boundaries. However, in many places no changes to the current arrangements will be required.

We want your comments and suggestions on the following:

– polling places and polling districts where changes are needed

– the suitability and location of any polling place in the borough

– the boundary of any polling district in the borough.

A list of polling places as well as corresponding ward maps (highlighting the new ward boundaries against the exisiting polling districts) are displayed in the related documents section below.
