Indoor Built Sports Facility Strategy

Overview

The strategy sets a long term vision for indoor built sports facilities across the Borough that positions its contribution towards the wider strategic outcomes for the Borough.

The strategy provides an informed position of current indoor sports facility supply and identifies key issues and any gaps in provision, for a strategic and reasoned approach to be taken when considering future provision.

The strategy sets the Vision and action plan for next 10 years (2019 2029) and takes into account future housing provision and population change using Sport England Facility Planning Model (FPM) data.
