Opened 19 Dec 2016

Overview

Rochdale Council is now consulting on a proposal to provide additional primary school places at Matthew Moss High School, Rochdale with effect from September 2018.

The proposal is to enlarge Matthew Moss High School by providing an additional 30 places in each new admission year group. The enlargement of the school would be to increase the admission number to 240 from September 2018 for each new successive year group, from the current admission number of 210.

The current total capacity of the school is 1050 places and the increase in places will mean that the total capacity will rise to 1200 places overall.

Rochdale Borough Council will implement the proposal if Cabinet provides approval.
