Publication Local Plan

Under Regulation 19 of the Town and Country Planning (Local Planning) (England) Regulations 2012, we are now seeking views on the Publication Local Plan over a six-week period commencing on 14 August and ending at 23:59 on 25 September 2026.

All representations must be submitted by 23:59 on 25 September 2026.

All comments will be held by Rochdale Council and made available in accordance with our privacy notice, which is available to view on our website at Privacy notices | Rochdale Borough Council
All duly made representations received within the representation period will be submitted to the Planning Inspectorate and to the person appointed by the Secretary of State to conduct the examination (i.e. the Inspector). Comments and names will be published in line with the Town and Country Planning (Local Planning) (England) Regulations 2012. This includes publication on the Council’s website.

This form has two parts –

Part A – Personal Details:  need only be completed once.

Part B – Your representation(s).  Please fill in a separate section for each representation you wish to make.

Please read the Publication Local Plan Representations Guidance and ensure that your comments are focused on whether or not the Plan has met the necessary legal and procedural requirements, and the four tests of soundness set out in national planning policy.

Please note, this online form is limited to a maximum of 20 representations on separate parts of the plan per submission. If you wish to submit more than 20 representations, we would be pleased to receive them. Please complete and submit an additional form for any further representations.
