Statutory Proposal for the Enlargement of Crossgates Primary School

Overview

Crossgates Foundation and Rochdale Council are now consulting on a proposal to provide additional primary school places at Crossgates Primary School with effect from September 2021.

Why your views matter

The proposal is to enlarge Crossgates Primary School by providing an additional 15 places in each new admission year group. The enlargement of the school would be to increase the admission number to 60 from September 2021 for each new successive year group, from the current admission number of 45.

The current total capacity of the school is 315 places and the increase in places will mean that the total capacity will rise to 420 places overall.

Rochdale Borough Council will implement the proposal if Cabinet provides approval.
