Overview

Notice is given that Rochdale Borough Council is considering the enlargement of:

Bowlee Park CP School, Windermere Road, Langley, Middleton, M24 4LA.

Rochdale Council is now consulting on a proposal to provide additional primary school places at Bowlee Park CP School, Middleton with effect from September 2016.

The proposal is to enlarge Bowlee Park CP School by providing an additional 30 places in each new admission year group. The enlargement of the school would be to increase the admission number to 120 from September 2016 for each new successive year group, from the current admission number of 90.

The current total capacity of the school is 630 places and the increase in places will mean that the total capacity will rise to 840 places overall.

Rochdale Borough Council will implement the proposal if Cabinet provides approval.
