RBSCP Young People's Survey
Overview
Your local safeguarding children partnership
What is important to you?
You may have heard about Rochdale Borough Safeguarding Children Partnership (RBSCP), your local safeguarding children partnership, but you might not be sure what they do or what they are for.
RBSCP is made up of local services and organisations working with children and young people (for example: police, education, health services and children’s services). RBSCP makes sure that all those working in our local area work together to keep children and young people safe and prioritise their welfare. They co-ordinate the work that is done to make sure it is as effective and useful as possible.
RBSCP’s work includes bringing different local services together to look at whether:
• children, young people and families are getting the help they need
• local services are doing what the law and guidance say they should be doing to help keep children and young people safe
• the quality of work done is of the highest standard
• lessons are learned for the future when children and young people have been harmed in their area
• local training is helping different professionals to keep children and young people safe
Now you know more about what we do, we would like you to help us to review what you think our priorities should be by answering a few questions in our short survey. This survey is anonymous and confidential. No one will be able to identify you from your answers.
If you would like to be involved in future RBSCP consultations, please email your contact details (name and contact email) to: rbsb.admin@rochdale.gov.uk
