Carers Survey 2022
Overview
Carers Survey
We need your views to help shape the future of Carer’s Services in the borough of Rochdale. This service is currently provided by our Carers Hub, which provides various activities throughout the borough and online.
Are you a Carer?
Carers UK defines Carers as people who provide unpaid care by looking after someone who is older, disabled, or seriously ill. These people are called Carers but they would probably say they were just "looking after someone".
Most people do not recognise themselves as Carers. Carer identification is a huge issue and we would like you to help shape our service to ensure it meets the needs of unpaid Carers in the borough.
Unpaid Carers can be children and adults who look after a family member, partner or friend because of their illness, disability, frailty, mental health, physical illness or they have an addiction and they cannot cope without their support. Caring for someone covers lots of different things like helping with washing, dressing, eating, taking them to regular appointments or offering emotional support.
We are interested in your views to help improve our service and would be grateful for a few minutes of your time to complete this short survey.
