Extra Reception Class Places in Primary Schools 2012-15

Overview

The Local Authority needs to make sure there are enough school places each year. There is still an increase in demand for Reception Class places in Primary Schools across the Borough, so the Authority wants to try to make sure that the views of parents, schools and others are taken into account before final decisions are taken.

There are enough secondary school places.

Consultationletters are set out below in the related documents section- by township- showing the current Reception places available and the expected demand for them over the next few years. Additional information is also set out giving information on births, admissions and appeals and current (October School Census) numbers on roll. The current School Organisation Plan (2010-2014) is also below.
